Problem Statement

One of the greatest challenges for type 1 diabetics is determining the correct amount of insulin required to process meals. Each food has a unique glycemic load that varies based on portion size, making manual calculations complex and prone to error.

Core Features

🗸 Users can log their current blood glucose levels for precise insulin dose calculations.
🗸 Users can input the foods they plan to eat, including portion sizes, to determine the total glycemic load.
🗸 The app uses individual therapy data, such as insulin-to-carb ratios and correction factors, to provide insulin dose recommendations tailored to each user.
🗸 Simplifies complex calculations into a quick and intuitive process for users.
🗸 Allows users to adjust therapy parameters (e.g., insulin-to-carb ratios, sensitivity factors) to match their doctor’s recommendations.
🗸 Provides essential features even when there’s no internet connection.
