Brand Overview
Marie’s Odyssey is a female fashion brand based in Lagos, Nigeria with the aim of connecting class, distinctiveness and lifestyle while telling the story of the superb famale fashion world.Marie’sOdyssey is on a journey of crafting classy & Luxurious fashion style while having fun. The visual identity ensures it's positioning and represents a strong classy brand in a fun and simple way.
Statement of Problem
The task was to create strong brand identity systems that will portray the uniqueness of female fashion and how how much fashion can impart giving its wearer unique qualities and confidence. The idea of the whole identity design was to craft a unique personality thats screams female at the same time show the fun side of fashion and also the confidence and super power that comes with being a female.
Research and Solution
After carrying out series of research and building a moodboard for the client, i came up with monogram logo for the brand. I combined the letters M and O to form a befitting logo that no only suits the brand but also aligns with the personality of the brand and also shows the classiness and unique nature of the brand. The primary typeface i went with was Galient, a Serif font. The suporting typeface i went with was Gotham.
While working on the project i was particularly focused on the colours as they would determine the emotional feel of the brand. The colours selected gives a calm feminine feel that not only works really well with brand but also compliments the pattern system.
The pattern i created are freeform and shapeless with curves that really works on the packaging and touchpoints
Overall, i had accomplished all the plans put in place and had built a working and successful solution to the initial problem whereby i needed to align the brand personality and as well bring harmony and clarity to the entire brand. At the end of the entire project the client was 100% satisfied with the delivery and the presentation.
