About #MSSA2021 Hackathon:
The Microsoft Student Summit Africa (#MSSA2021) hackathon is a hackathon that aims to get students to apply their creativity and problem-solving skills to hack on real-world problems using Microsoft's technologies. This Hackathon has been organized by the Microsoft Africa Development Centre and has been aimed at college/university students passionate about problem-solving with technology.
About Team Wambini & Chosen theme:
Team Wambini which consists of Suhasini Dokowry and Brian Wambura has selected the Healthcare theme to work on and came up with AFYA MSAADA: Your Urgent Healthline which is in line with Creating an app/product that improves access to health technology in rural areas under the healthcare theme.
Suhasini Dokowry's Roles in Team Wambini:
The roles of Suhasini Dokowry include being:
the Team Representative and Project Manager of Team Wambini.
the Graphics, Media and Communications Person of Team Wambini.
Suhasini's Contributions:
Helped with ideation of the project in line with the SDG 3
Created the team name (Team Wambini) and name of the project/app( Afya Msaada: Your Urgent Healthline)
Worked on the USSD mockup visual designs, videos and presentation.
In terms of visual design, Suhasini designed the logo, the presentation slides, the phone and the USSD mockup & final outlook.
She also helped with part of the in-depth explanation of the details of the project.
