Navigo – Transit Landing Page & Live Fleet Dashboard

Designed and developed a modern interface for navigo.rw, a platform that helps commuters get the fastest routes using Kigali's public transport system. Implemented responsive layouts, real-time bus route tracking, and intuitive map interactions. Focused on usability and performance for low-bandwidth users.
The landing page
Not gonna lie… the hero section and custom cursor nearly made me tear my hair out 😅 The hero had tricky layouts and animations, and the cursor effect needed to feel smooth but snappy. Seeing it all come together — animations, dynamic sections, and that interactive cursor — was so satisfying. It feels alive without being overwhelming.

The operator dashboard
The other half of the work was a dashboard where transit operators run their fleet day to day. The live map is our own implementation, built as customizations on top of the open-source MapLibre GL rather than a paid maps API.
The overview: vehicles in navigation, drivers, journey trends, and a live activity feed.
