What Is 'Alt Text’?
‘Alt text' which means alternative text. Alt text is an important part of our articles that some of us either ignore or are unaware of. Alt text is a short written description of ab image, which helps :
search engines ( search engines can't see images. They rely on alt text to understand them properly. It helps your content rank better on search engines.)
Backup for broken images ( if an image fails to load, the alt text is displayed in its place. Users understand the image.)
Visually impaired users ( screen readers read alt text aloud for them making your content more accurate)
Steps To Add 'Alt Text' :
Upload or insert an image.
2. Click on the image.
3. You will see a small "add a description" box or "alt text" option above /below the image.
4. Type a description text about the image.
5. Press enter or save to save it.
By following these steps, you will be able to add 'alt text' to your images. While writing the description, be specific about the image, keep it natural, and include relevant keywords. I hope this will be helpful for you.
