Car Hauling Website for Quotes & Customer Tracking

For this project, I designed a website for a car hauling company, focusing on a sleek visual style, modern aesthetics, and an intuitive user experience that aligns with the client's expectations. The goal was to create a professional and user-friendly platform that makes it easy for customers to request quotes, learn about services, and get in touch with the company.
Step 1: Wireframes Creation
I began by developing detailed wireframes to define the website’s structure, navigation, and user flow. Since the platform needed to provide quick access to essential services, I focused on clear call-to-actions, an intuitive menu layout, and a well-structured content hierarchy.
Key sections included:
Request a Quote – Simplified form placement for easy access.
Company Information – A structured section to highlight services and expertise.
Contact & Support – A dedicated area for seamless communication with the company.
The wireframes ensured that all elements were positioned for maximum clarity and usability before moving into the visual design phase.
Step 2. UI Options Creation
To give the client flexibility in choosing their preferred style, I designed two different UI options, each with a unique visual approach:
Option 1: A bold, high-contrast layout with strong typography and impactful visuals.
Option 2: A sleek, minimalistic design with soft tones and a modern aesthetic.
Both options maintained clarity, professionalism, and a strong brand presence, allowing the client to select the visual direction that best fit their brand identity.
Step 3: Home Page Design & Approval
Once the client chose their preferred UI style, I proceeded to design the homepage as the foundation for the rest of the website. This page needed to immediately communicate the company’s reliability and efficiency, so I carefully structured elements like:
A compelling hero section with a clear message.
Well-placed CTAs for easy quote requests.
A visual breakdown of services and benefits.
The homepage design was then sent for client approval.
Step 4: Full Website Design & Approval
After receiving approval for the homepage, I expanded the design to all website pages, ensuring a cohesive and engaging visual experience. The website was designed to:
Maintain a modern and polished aesthetic.
Keep information structured and easy to scan.
Ensure seamless navigation and accessibility.
Once the full website was designed, I presented it to the client for review. After approval, the client requested additional pages for personal accounts, dashboards, and an onboarding process.
Step 5: Personal Account, Dashboard & Onboarding Design
Following the client’s request, I designed the Personal Account, Dashboard, and Onboarding pages to enhance the user experience for returning customers.
Onboarding was designed as a simple, step-by-step process to help new users get started efficiently.
The Dashboard featured clear data visualization, allowing users to easily manage bookings, track shipments, and view updates.
The Personal Account section was structured to make profile management and customer interactions seamless.
Throughout this phase, I maintained a clean, intuitive, and visually engaging design that aligned with the company’s professional image.
Step 6: Preparation for Development & Mobile Optimization
With the design finalized, I prepared all assets for handoff to development, ensuring a smooth transition by providing:
Organized design files, style guides, and specifications.
UI documentation to maintain design consistency during implementation.
Additionally, I optimized the entire website for mobile devices, ensuring:
A responsive layout that adapts to different screen sizes.
Touch-friendly buttons and intuitive mobile navigation.
Final Outcome
The result was a modern, visually appealing, and highly functional website that provides a seamless experience across desktop and mobile devices. By bold typography, and a strategic UI approach, I ensured that the website remains engaging, user-friendly, and optimized for conversions.
