Self Discovery Haven: a calm, trust-first counseling site

The client

Self Discovery Haven is a bilingual mental health counseling practice. Before this project, people found the practice through scattered third-party listings, so there was no owned place to build trust or to see what was bringing clients in.

The challenge

Visitors are often in a vulnerable moment and need calm, low-pressure guidance. The practice needed to earn trust quickly without aggressive lead-capture tactics, and booking had to route through the trusted scheduling system the practice already used.

The approach

Trust first, urgency never. We placed credibility early, wrote services and next steps in plain language, and used soft calls to action that support a decision without pushing. Analytics baselines were set up before any growth spend.

What we built

A calm hero and content hierarchy that leads with reassurance and clarity. Credibility context placed early. Plain-language service pathways. Soft calls to action into the practice's existing booking system. A custom responsive build with SEO-ready structure, GA4 and Clarity, and clear legal and disclaimer guardrails.

Results

Indexed in Google Search Console with a baseline for discoverability. The website-attributed booking path is validated through GA4 source tracking, and behavior tracking is running across the key steps of the visitor journey.
