FlipThrough is an AI-powered contract negotiation platform helping enterprise teams streamline document workflows. As a startup, Erwann (Co-founder and CEO) needed a polished website to showcase their product at investor events and industry conferences.
What challenge were they facing?
FlipThrough had a powerful product but no online presence. They needed a site that could clearly communicatehow their platform works, what problems it solves, and why enterprise procurement teams should care. The site had to look sharp enough to support live pitches to investors.
My Role in the Project
I came on as the developer, working alongside Crystal Martin (designer). While she handled the visual direction, I consulted during the design phase on component structure, recommending we use Relume components as the foundation rather than building from scratch. This significantly sped up the design-to-development handoff.
She worked in Figma, which I used as the reference point to translate layouts into Webflow.
PS - It's better to involve a developer in the design phase itself so they can get a better context of the product and review the design and give suggestions on the layouts.
The Build
The core site was a full marketing website built in Webflow. The standout challenge was the product demo animations. The client wanted interactive sequences that show how their AI platform works, and they needed to feel smooth and native.
I built all animations using GSAP inside Webflow natively rather than relying on Lottie files. This was a deliberate decision for two reasons:
Performance. Native GSAP kept the site fast and lightweight while delivering complex, interactive 3D product demos. Every animation was built from scratch.
Hero animation showing how the product works and what it solves
Maintainability. Because the animations live natively inside Webflow, they're fully editable without going back to a designer. If the team needs to update details in any animation down the line, they (or I) can jump into Webflow and make changes directly. No need to regenerate Lottie files or loop in a designer for simple updates. This gives the client long-term independence over their own site.

Results
The full site went from design to launch in about 3 weeks (1 week of core development, with ongoing design iterations and animation refinements).
FlipThrough walked into their next round of investor pitches and industry events with a site that matched the ambition of their product.
Collaborated with Erwann to create a user-friendly website that highlights their product and solutions, ensuring they can manage future updates independently.
