Led a comprehensive logistics optimization initiative at 4PL Logistics Company to enhance control over deliveries across Europe and overseas. The project aimed to identify and address reasons for delivery failures, streamline dock booking processes, and organize the invoice process, cost allocation, and rate updates. All processes were working on SAP TM, with a focus on identifying and addressing potential glitches in the operation.
I took a crucial role in aligning logistics processes with SAP TM, understanding the business, and addressing specific challenges related to delivery failures, dock bookings, and invoice processes. My main responsibilities included streamlining operations, identifying and reporting glitches, ensuring seamless integration with SAP TM, and training the team.
The client sought more control over deliveries, real-time product tracking, and a streamlined process with the new SAP TM solution for dock bookings, invoice management, cost allocation, and rate updates.
Faced challenges in aligning existing processes with SAP TM, categorizing delivery failure reasons, and implementing efficient dock booking and reporting systems. Overcame challenges by developing tailored solutions, including training programs, process optimizations, reports automation, and system integrations.
Collaborated with diverse teams, including procurement, overseas and in-land transport, external carriers, as well as both external and internal warehouse staff, ensuring seamless coordination, efficient logistics, and optimized supply chain operations.
