DeskOps: AI Business Advisor for Service Companies

The Problem

Field service businesses run on 6+ disconnected apps: Stripe for payments, QuickBooks for books, Meta and Google for ads, spreadsheets for everything else. Their data is scattered, their margins are invisible, and they're making decisions blind. A fractional CFO costs $36K-$180K/year. Most operators can't afford one.

What I Built

DeskOps is an all-in-one AI-powered command center that unifies operations, financial reporting, and artificial intelligence into a single workspace for service businesses. I designed and built the entire platform solo, end to end: product strategy, UI/UX design, frontend, backend, AI architecture, integrations, and deployment.

Core platform capabilities:
Unified dashboard connecting Stripe, Square, QuickBooks, Plaid, Google Ads, Meta Ads, and more into one live view
Custom RAG-based AI advisor using vector databases to deliver industry-specific insights across 76 business niches
Automated financial reporting generating CPA-grade quarterly PDFs for tax prep
Operational automation for internal comms (Resend), invoice tracking, ad performance monitoring, and daily actionable insights
Bank-grade security with AES-256-GCM encryption, row-level security on every table, and read-only integrations by design

The Tech Stack

React on the frontend. Supabase for the database and auth with row-level security. Vercel for deployment. Anthropic for the AI layer. Upstash for caching and rate limiting. Stripe for billing. Sentry for error monitoring. Resend for transactional email.
The AI system isn't a ChatGPT wrapper. It's a custom Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipeline that ingests a business's live financial and operational data, then answers natural-language questions grounded in real numbers.

The Result

DeskOps launched on June 15, 2025 after roughly 4.5 months of solo development. Within the first week of running ads, 5 businesses signed up for the free trial. The platform is live and taking customers at $99/month with a 14-day free trial, replacing the need for a fractional CFO at a fraction of the cost.
Built under IntelliFlow Communications, where I serve as Co-Founder and COO.
