Jared and Katie wanted to start an online business called 'Learn Más Spanish.' Their idea was to teach Spanish through an online course. They knew Katie was a great teacher, but they didn't have a brand name or a plan for their online presence.
Their main goal was to create a professional and easy-to-use website using Kajabi. This website would host Katie's Spanish lessons. It would also help them get new students. They wanted a platform that looked good, worked well, and showed Katie's skill and the brand's quality.
The Challenge & Our Role
The biggest challenge was to build a complete online learning system from scratch. This included everything from creating a brand to handling course delivery and managing students.
Jared and Katie needed more than just a website. They needed a full online store that people would trust. It had to clearly show what they offered and highlight Katie's teaching experience.
My job was to:
Guide them through important business and marketing decisions.
Make sure their brand looked and felt the same everywhere.
Build their Kajabi platform. This meant turning their ideas into a real, working online platform.
Specifically, I helped them:
Develop their brand.
Design a website that looked good and was easy to use.
Build all the technical parts of their Kajabi platform to make sure everything worked smoothly.
The Process
The first and most important step was to create the brand's visual look. They needed a strong, memorable brand.
This is what we did:
I set up a logo design contest on 99designs.com. This allowed us to see many different logo ideas from various designers.
We reviewed these ideas and chose a logo that fit 'Learn Más Spanish' perfectly. It showed the brand as lively, friendly, and educational. This logo became the base for all other visual elements.
Once the brand's look was set (including colors, fonts, and images), I started building the Kajabi website.
I planned out the website's structure.
I created basic layouts for important pages.
I decided where to put content to make it easy for users to find what they needed and sign up for courses. I always kept the new brand look in mind.
The Build & Outcome
Using the new brand guidelines, I built a custom Kajabi website that looked great and worked well. I designed and made several important web pages:
Homepage:
This page had sections that showed why people should learn Spanish and why they should choose 'Más Spanish.'
It also had a clear overview of the course and testimonials from early students.
A prominent button encouraged visitors to get free sample lessons. This helped them collect emails and turn potential students into full-time learners.
About Us Page:
This page shared Katie's qualifications, her teaching style, and the company's story. This helped build trust.
Curriculum Page:
This page gave detailed information about all the courses offered.
Contact Page:
This page made it easy for people to ask questions and get in touch.
Throughout the website, we used professional photos of Katie and Spanish-themed images. This made the site more appealing and real.
The learning area for courses (the "back-end") was carefully set up. It made learning easy and fun for students, with clear lesson modules, assignments, and a way to track their progress.
When the website launched, Jared and Katie loved it. The complete, branded, and fully working platform quickly helped them get students and establish their brand as a strong and trusted name in online language education.
