Reviewing a client's client base to see and advice them about their own target audience and how should they go forward in their industry! Here is the report as it follows:

Analysis of Trends in Clients

Executive Summary

This report presents an analysis of customer occupations and their relative ages. Key findings include identifying trends within clients and recommendations to make which occupations the target audience for Mdm Ong Wen Lin. 

Introduction

The dataset used for this analysis comprises over a thousand clients occupations and other personal data such as client’s name, marital status, sex and nationality. Currently I am using mainly occupation to see if there are any obvious trends within her clients. 

Methodology 

First I cleaned the data via removing all of her clients that didn’t have any occupations. This was a sizable amount - 40% of her clients were removed in this way. Next, I had to fix any spelling errors in job occupations and had to merge similar occupations together e.g Baby & Infant, Policemen & Police Officer.
Next, I classified the remaining occupations with their income where I split into 4 income levels: 
Not Working, Low Income, Medium Income and High Income. This is to see among the income levels, which of them are most likely to buy her insurance plans. I plotted this on a pie chart to visualize the trends. 
Lastly, within the High Income levels, I checked for their age, sex and their marital status to seek out any other trends to be observed. All of these observations would be recorded down in a bar graph.   

Results

This pie chart shows where most of Mdm Ong’s clients fall under. In a total of 655 clients, 51.8% fell under medium income. Surprisingly, almost a quarter of her clients weren’t in the workforce. These include infants, retirees and housewives. This indicates that Mdm Ong’s clientbase are mostly from the families of those in the medium income category. 
Upon her request, I looked further about the high income clients to draw out any other conclusions from their data. 
For Gender, it is relatively even where Mdm Ong has slightly more high income female clients than male. 
For age we can see a noticeable trend where the majority of Mdm Ong’s high income clientbase are between the ages of 40 to 50. She also has a sizable number of clients above the age of 50 which could indicate that she is selling her products to older folks as well. 
From here, there is a very striking trend of Mdm Ong’s clientbase. A vast majority of her clients are married which indicates that her primary target are families. 

Summary

Within these graphs, I can infer that most of Mdm Ong’s clientbase work in medium income jobs based on occupations. Upon looking through all of the information, Mdm Ong’s target audience should be:
Works in High Income Jobs e.g Manager, President, Owner
Is between 40 to 50 years old
Married and have a family 
Due to the high amounts of Not Working clients, I can infer that most of her clients were from families of one of her other clients. This indicates that once she has acquired a deal with one client, she can easily turn that into three to four other deals with their family members. 
I would recommend her to keep up with this strategy and continue to maintain good bonds with her clients. As her clients can spread her name to their various close friends and families, thus allowing her to drastically increase her number of deals.
