This mobile inventory and shipment platform is an end-to-end logistics workspace built for warehouse managers, floor operators, and logistics teams. It consolidates complex supply chain metrics—from warehouse storage capacity and picking velocity to live shipment tracking—into an intuitive, high-efficiency mobile app.
The Problem
Most enterprise supply chain tools were built for desktop screens and overloaded with confusing tables. When operators and floor managers are moving around a busy warehouse, navigating cluttered screens on a phone leads to costly shipping errors, delayed order processing, and inaccurate stock counts. The product needed a mobile-first interface that could display complex, real-time data cleanly without slowing down fast-paced field operations.
The Apporach
Optimized Dark Mode UI for Field Environments:
We designed a high-contrast dark theme (#0D0D0D background) paired with vibrant accent colors (Electric Blue, Emerald Green, and Warm Orange). This approach drastically reduces screen eye strain during long floor shifts and makes status badges instantly scannable, even under harsh lighting inside warehouses.
Warehouse Summary & Capacity Metrics:
The primary dashboard provides a high-level overview of storage utilization (e.g., 52% capacity, 39,312 total inventory items). Quick metric cards categorize active operational queues into Incoming Deliveries (64), Outgoing Orders (41), Order Accuracy (120), and Delayed Orders (12), giving managers an immediate health check of their operations.
Hourly Picking Analytics & Activity Feeds:
To keep daily operations on schedule, we introduced a bar chart widget tracking hourly picking volume (e.g., 2,641 units completed with hourly breakdowns from 8 AM to 1 PM). Beneath the charts, a live vertical timeline feed displays real-time floor updates—showing who picked what item, stock transfers between racks, and dock receipts down to the minute.
Detailed Shipment Status Cards:
Shipment tracking screens break down multi-leg deliveries into clear step-by-step progress bars (Picked-up → In-Transit → Out for Delivery → Delivered). Key data points—such as driver name, assigned truck, destination address, estimated arrival time, total weight (e.g., 2,400 kg), and palette count—are neatly formatted into clean, accessible card containers.
Floating Bottom Dock & Dynamic Search:
Navigation is anchored by a compact floating bottom navigation dock for easy one-handed thumb reach. A global search bar at the top allows operators to quickly query products, SKU barcodes, or shipment IDs on the fly.
The Outcome
By transforming dense enterprise logistics data into a scannable, mobile-optimized experience, the app significantly minimizes manual order errors and speeds up daily warehouse workflows. Field managers and floor operators can now manage thousands of inventory items and live shipments directly from the palm of their hand.
