Picture this: you're on a train, a bus, public transportation, tired after a long day, and you start to doze off. Suddenly, you wake up, realizing you've missed your stop. Frustrating, right? That's a problem many commuters face. So, when I saw a challenge to design this, I decided to take a bite and design an app to solve it.

Objective

The goal was simple: develop an app to wake people up just before their stop, no matter what transport they're on. I wanted to make sure it was easy to use and helpful for everyone, whether they're on a train, bus, or tram.

Solution

So, I designed "Wake Up, This is Your Stop.(WTS)" It's an app that tracks where you are using GPS and tells you when you're getting close to your destination. I made it customizable, so users can set their preferences for alerts and make sure they never miss their stop again.

Next steps

To design this project, I carried out a lot of researches and I want to make the app even better. I'm thinking of adding more transport options and working with transportation agencies to improve accuracy and despite having tested this app a couple of times, I look forward to building it. The goal is to make traveling easier and more enjoyable for everyone.

Conclusion

Creating "Wake Up, This is Your Stop" has been rewarding. It's amazing to see how technology can solve everyday problems and make people's lives better. I'm excited to keep improving the app and helping even more commuters in the future.
