Trauma-informed care, and trauma therapy, are often looked upon like some kind of fringe, unproven, or even trite practice. That, or it's seen as a super negatively-focused practice that will essentially be a huge downer, without really solving anything, or making you feel any better. While this project provides ways to support your mental health and trauma recovery through small practices throughout your day (from the food that you eat, to the way that you breathe), simply writing about it without a visual aid is not enough to convey the richness of trauma-informed living.
