Santoni SpA and NILIT were preparing for the Outdoor Retailer show and wanted to showcase their new capsule collection of high-performance seamless athletic wear. They needed a way to demonstrate the capabilities of their new fine gauge seamless technology and Sensil Breeze yarns.

The challenge was to create garments that were not only fashionable but also comfortable, supportive, and cooling for outdoor consumers. They needed a solution that would highlight the unique features of their products while also showcasing their versatility.

The team at Santoni and NILIT worked together to create a range of athletic designs that showcased the capabilities of their machinery and yarns. They used Santoni's new fine gauge seamless technology (SM8TOP2V 40 gauge) to create fabrics with smoother surfaces that provided second skin comfort. The precision knitting constructs compression areas that supported the body and variable thicknesses to pad and protect. Exact placement of vents and thermal pockets enabled the release or retention of body heat in specific areas of the garment.

The capsule collection featured Sensil Breeze with its unique cooling sensation that had been tested and proven to reduce body temperature, according to NILIT. Fabrics knitted with Sensil Breeze were soft, lightweight, and offered superior drape for beautiful, comfortable garments. By working together, Santoni and NILIT created special apparel products that met the needs of outdoor consumers with fashionable, lightweight, beautifully constructed garments that cool, support, and enhance comfort and appearance.
