Visual Identity for Public Environmental Data Partners

Louis Charron

Since January 2025, critical environmental datasets are being systematically removed from federal websites, information we all need to understand climate risks and protect public health. I had the pleasure of working with the Public Environmental Data Partners to create a visual identity that transforms abstract digital preservation into something tangible and trustworthy. The brand draws from traditional archival aesthetics: paper-inspired colors, layouts that recreate an archivist's desk, and a monogram that serves as an authenticity seal for preserved data. Every visual element reinforces that these aren't just digital files, but essential knowledge we all rely on. I’m proud to support organizations protecting knowledge that belongs to all of us.
