UI for Banking API Development Portal

As a front-end developer, I played a pivotal role in the development of a developer portal for IDFC Bank, aimed at facilitating the building and testing of APIs. My responsibilities included crafting the user interface (UI) from scratch, ensuring responsiveness, accessibility, and maintaining fidelity to the design provided in Figma.

• Role and Responsibilities:

In this project, I was tasked with translating design concepts into functional UI components using Angular, Bootstrap, and Sass. I meticulously implemented responsive and accessible design principles to guarantee an optimal user experience across devices. Additionally, I focused on creating a seamless integration of a code editor within the platform, enabling users to write and test banking APIs efficiently.

• Technologies Used:

The developer portal was built using Angular as the primary framework, complemented by Bootstrap for responsive design and Sass for enhanced styling capabilities. These technologies were instrumental in achieving the desired functionality and aesthetic appeal of the platform.

• Goals Achieved:

The primary objective of the project was to provide users with a robust platform for API development and testing. Through meticulous UI development and integration of a feature-rich code editor, we successfully met this goal. The platform empowered users to write and test banking APIs seamlessly, enhancing their productivity and efficiency.

• Challenges Overcome:

A significant challenge encountered during the project was ensuring both the portal and code editor were accessible and responsive. This required extensive customization of JavaScript components to ensure compliance with accessibility standards and maintain responsiveness. By adapting and fine-tuning custom components, we successfully addressed these challenges, ensuring a seamless user experience for all.
