Glide Invest - Product Design

Glide Invest is an advanced, goal-driven personal finance application designed to convert a highly complex, intimidating mutual fund ecosystem into an intuitive, guided, and deeply transparent wealth journey. The primary product design objective was to build a comprehensive mobile interface that entirely demystifies financial planning. By decomposing traditional financial barriers into step-by-step linear wizards, automated allocation tools, and micro-investment pipelines, the platform empowers retail investors to move fluidly from intent to execution with total clarity and zero cognitive load.

The app's user experience framework translates data density into structured, welcoming interactive layouts that maximise user comprehension.

Linear Setup Funnels: The application utilises a highly focused, linear configuration pipeline for core milestones. This layout guides an investor smoothly through entering targeted goals, configuring direct numbers such as a ₹1,20,00,000 target amount, and picking a specific time horizon like a 20-year retirement timeline using simple pre-set button matrices.

The Intent-Driven UI System: The platform leverages a crisp, modern typography stack balanced by highly vibrant primary action buttons that pull the user forward. Clear input areas with real-time numeric conversion feedback prevent common multi-digit data-entry mistakes.

Dynamic UI Onboarding Aids: The design incorporates spacious onboarding screens introducing critical options like "Why Smart Portfolio?" and "Why Custom Portfolio?", using minimalist pastel backplates and clear value propositions to reinforce user confidence before any money is transferred.

The application UI scales fluidly across distinct user mindsets, allowing individuals to choose between automated financial guidance or full, unrestricted asset customization.

Categorised Investment Cards: Individual investment paths are divided into distinct color-coded buckets, featuring sleek green gradients for "Core Growth" and patterned shapes for "Core Balanced" structures. This system gives users immediate, effortless context regarding risk profiles without overwhelming them with text.

The Custom Portfolio Engine: For seasoned investors seeking granular control, the product provides multi-layered selection screens broken down into quick-filtering asset pills like Equity, Hybrid, Debt, and International. This design gives the user the capability to select individual mutual funds, review key metrics, and inject lump-sum initial deposits seamlessly.
