Lilac Escape, a fictional fragrance company, needed new product photography to showcase their new line of fragrance called “Lavender Honey”. This collection targets the individuals who believes in the use of fragrance to shape your emotions and personality to create better memories. For this project, I was tasked to photograph a set of product photographs of the Lavender Honey fragrance along with lifestyle photos showing the usage of the fragrance.

What I wanted to accomplish with this project was to capture the elegance of the fragrance. The photographs needed to be created in the highest quality so it can be suitable for website usage, social media and advertising purposes.

I started this process by creating a shot list of the props needed as well as setting up the proper lighting and camera equipment needed for this photoshoot.

The fragrance product photography was captured against a purple background with the use of flower props to help create more imagery in the images. I was able to use a variety of different angles that would focus best on the face of the fragrance so it can be easily edited later on in the process.

For the lifestyle photos, I wanted to keep it bright and simple. I was able to complete the photographs in a room that had a lot of natural lighting showing through. I was able to capture the different usages of the fragrance throughout the shoot.

Once all the photographs were completed, I was able to move onto the post-production process of the project. I edited all the images with the use of Adobe Lightroom to make the images more lively. After, I took the images to Adobe Photoshop to remove the original label off the fragrance and to paste the label I created in Adobe Illustrator onto the fragrance.
