Modern Logo Design for Firelight Labs Software Agency

About the Client:

Firelight Labs is a software engineering agency focused on delivering high-performance, scalable digital solutions. As a consultancy, they emphasize clean, efficient code and forward-thinking technology. They requested a bold yet minimal logo to reflect their technical edge and modern aesthetic, favoring a dark theme with a possible dark purple background and a stylized fire symbol.

Design Process:

Explored visual themes that bridge fire and digital innovation — both powerful forces of transformation. The goal was to reflect the agency’s dual identity: creative and technical. All versions were designed with a dark theme in mind, utilizing dark greys and purples for the background and warm flame tones for contrast, delivering a striking visual presence in both light and dark variants.

v1 - A pixelated flame icon representing both fire and digital pixels — clean, geometric, and tech-driven.

v2 - A flame enclosed within a hexagon, subtly referencing the modular, efficient structures seen in blockchain and software engineering.

v3 - A custom monogram combining the letters “F” and “L” into a flame-like silhouette — minimalistic and bold, ideal for a modern tech brand.

After making a few changes, the client chose this version.

Final Deliverables:

Logo files: JPG, PNG (transparent), AI, EPS, SVG, PDF Color variants: Full color, white, black Favicon & icon-ready versions
