I created an engaging event stand with multiple touchscreens showcasing Meta’s hardware products and sustainability efforts at OCP in San Jose in 2022 and 2023. I also created an online version for those who were unable to make it to the event.
Meta had several pieces of hardware, including 10 different models, that needed to be showcased. The task was to create applications that could provide interactive experiences for users, allowing them to explore the models and their sub-models, with animations to demonstrate the assembly and disassembly of the products.
I designed a touchscreen app with advanced functionality to meet the needs of representatives and engineers at the event stand. The app featured a menu allowing users to select from the 10 models (designed by a 3D designer), each accompanied by animations demonstrating the extraction of sub-models. Users could zoom, rotate, and explore models interactively.
The touchscreen applications were a huge success at the event stand, exceeding expectations by engaging delegates beyond the intended audience. The high-resolution screens showcased the lifelike 3D models, capturing attention and encouraging conversations. It provided an immersive experience without requiring physical models.
Created an engaging event stand with touchscreens for Meta's hardware showcase at OCP. Designed for both the in person event and a virtual version of the stand.
