Bayzara Music Festival - Brand Identity

Bayzara is a new end-of-summer music and entertainment festival happening on the Keansburg, NJ beachfront. The goal? Close out the season with energy, style, and community.
The client contacted me to help shape the event from the ground up, starting with a visual identity that could capture the festival’s vibe: music, beach, warmth, and movement.
We explored three distinct logo directions:
Concept 01: A bold wordmark with a guitar hidden in the negative space between the “Y” and “Z,” birds flying overhead to represent freedom and seasonal transition, and wave lines to anchor it to the beach. The grungy texture added that raw, outdoorsy festival feel. This was the chosen direction.
Concept 02: A sunny, more playful wordmark with birds and organic shapes that felt light, warm, and breezy—like something you’d see on a beach towel or flyer.
Concept 03: A modern, geometric wordmark with soft edges—clean and built for scale, with a look that could grow with the festival over time.
Once we locked in Concept 01, I carried the same textured font into the broader event branding to keep things cohesive.
For the color palette, I pulled straight from the setting:
Dark teal and sky blue inspired by the ocean and horizon
Sandy cream and sunset orange for earthy warmth and balance
