My interpretation of the BEM Branding

How might we extend this branding and make it more.. Modern. future proof while keeping the style and existing philosophy?

What currently exist?

Right now, we’re using a Bauhaus-inspired design — bold shapes, primary colors, and a modular grid that clearly shows the intent: messy input → clean output. It works well as a philosophy; the geometric clarity, contrast, and playfulness make the idea visible.

What needs changing

The style, while visually striking, leans heavily on retro Bauhaus references and doesn’t fully capture a modern, AI-forward aesthetic. There’s some depth, but it lacks the fluidity and motion we’d expect from a product that should feel dynamic and intelligent. The color palette is bold and confident, but also restrictive - it communicates strength, but not the expressive range we need to feel truly future-ready. As it stands, it feels closer to an art poster than a product identity built to compete in the AI space.

Let’s attempt to change that, shall we?

With limited time for ideation and delivery, I have quickly tried to do a little of everything.. Let's call it an MVP -

also because I am multidisciplinary, I wanted to show the full extent of my skills from branding. - motion - UXUI and some illustration

Gradients.. not just colors

Gradients make the product feel AI-forward, fluid, and approachable. Unlike flat primaries that feel rigid and retro, gradients bring depth, warmth, and movement. They signal transition and intelligence, while keeping the system modern, adaptive, and more human-friendly.

Flair - not just shapes

So I was thinking about how to use these Bauhaus-inspired designs to create our own styling, icons, and shapes that flow into our product design and branding, so I came up with this… These aren’t just geometric forms - they’re expressions of energy, intelligence, and personality. With gradients and motion, they evolve beyond decoration into a living design language, making the product feel Alive

Stories, not just images

Nothing much to say here. i just wanted the image style to blend seamlessly with our shapes, gradients, and components, turning everyday scenes into part of the brand story.

The landing page

This one took so much of my time. I was looking for a way to bring everything together into a scroll-stopping, high-converting, usable, and aesthetically pleasing landing page... something that combines all our brand elements seamlessly. I explored a couple of directions and stopped at this version. With more time, I know it could be pushed much further, but this is a strong glimpse of what I can deliver even under time constraints.

Conclusion

This exploration is just the starting point. With more time, I’d love to push it further because if the evolving patterns here are nurtured and expanded, they have the potential to grow into a full brand enhancement system. One that doesn’t just modernize bem’s look, but future-proofs it into something iconic and scalable.
