One wrist tap to pin a place, one tap to return, with no account and no PinO server
Client: Product by Benito Massidda / devBen
Platform: iOS (iPhone) and watchOS (Apple Watch)
Scope: Full product: native SwiftUI app, Watch companion, MapKit style place save/find flows, privacy first local data
Problem. Saving a hotel, parking spot, or point of interest in Maps is slow when you are already moving: unlock phone, open Maps, long press, favorite, name. People need a faster path from wrist or pocket back to the exact place.
Solution. PinO is a native SwiftUI product for iPhone and Apple Watch. Flow is Mark, Walk, Back: one tap saves the place, the place stays on device, one tap brings you back. Watch uses WatchConnectivity. Privacy model is explicit: no account, no PinO central server, no ads; pins live on device; Always location only if proximity alerts are enabled; deleting the app removes on device data. App Store languages listed: English, Italian, French, Spanish, German. Not a full turn by turn navigator; it returns you to the pin. No subscription.
Result. Product marketing and demo live at https://devben.app/apps/pino (screens for Watch Save/Find, pins list, iPhone Find, settings). Homepage positions it as the flagship native iOS plus Watch case: map and navigation back without account or central server.
Stack: Swift, SwiftUI, MapKit, WatchKit, WatchConnectivity, Xcode (evidenced by product page and Ben’s iOS skill set)
