A mock-up of a social media post for Instagram (Flatlay image + accompanying caption).
Task: To pick a few pieces of jewellery that I had at home to create a flatlay or mood photo with a caption to post on Instagram.
This was my submission for a job application as a Digital Marketing Executive for a luxury jewellery brand in Singapore back in Dec 2020.
I shot the flatlay using an iPhone X and edited the image on Adobe Lightroom Mobile.
Crafted the following caption for this mock-up Instagram post:
"Date Night Essentials!
It’s the end of the work week, time to reconnect with your loved ones and yourself. Every now and then, make it a point to doll up and bring on the 𝑔𝓁𝒶𝓂! Hit the town with your significant other or your best girlfriends. The night is young, seize it while you can!"
Following the submission of this assignment, I was offered the above-mentioned role with the company and worked on several product launch campaigns during my time there.
