For Cheryl's CFI Cast website, I spearheaded both frontend and backend deployments on DigitalOcean, utilizing a Node.js application managed with PM2 and served through Nginx on an Ubuntu system. My role extended beyond initial deployment; I was actively involved in ongoing configurations, troubleshooting, and providing end-to-end support to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Recognizing the need for enhanced scalability and efficiency, we are now in the planning stages of transitioning to a Kubernetes-based architecture. This strategic move is aimed at leveraging Kubernetes' powerful orchestration capabilities to support the website's growth and evolving demands, ensuring it remains robust and responsive for users.
