RepairSpots Production Cloud Environment

Anupa Kulathunga

Engaged by Raymond for enhancing the security and scalability of his businesses (RepairSpots.com and RepairSpots.org), originally hosted on DigitalOcean, I spearheaded the transition to a robust AWS architecture. This initiative began with a comprehensive security overhaul of the existing setup, addressing critical vulnerabilities and setting the stage for a scalable, high-traffic environment. The project's cornerstone was the design and implementation of a resilient AWS infrastructure, leveraging a suite of services like ECS Fargate for serverless compute operations, Elastic Load Balancing for traffic distribution, and Route 53 for DNS services. The successful deployment of this AWS solution not only fortified the security posture of Raymond's online presence but also established a scalable and efficient system capable of handling increased web traffic seamlessly. Key to this transition was the integration of AWS CodePipeline, facilitating continuous integration and delivery, thus significantly enhancing development workflows and operational efficiency. This comprehensive approach delivered a future-proof, high-performing infrastructure, showcasing my ability to address complex technical challenges and drive significant business improvements.
