Overview
This project was a redesign and rebranding of the company's marketing website.
Tools used:
Squarespace
Canva (for Retreat Itinerary PDF)
Project goals:
Redesign website layout
Redesign website styling and brand identity (including colours, images, brand voice)
Improve navigation and usability
Allow customers to purchase retreats directly from the website
Allow customers to book acupuncture appointments directly from the website
Consolidate repetitive information, make site copy more concise and easier to read
Create additional marketing materials (retreat itinerary PDF)

Before (Old Website)
Things to improve:
Page did not clearly communicate what the company offers (services, retreats, etc.)
Images were different sizes and not all were high quality
Copy was repetitive through out the page
Navigation through buttons re-directed to unexpected pages
'Learn More' button in hero image led to Retreats page (unexpected)
'Find Out More' button led to Continuing Education Courses/CE page (unexpected)
Top bar navigation: About section was unnecessarily split into multiple pages
Top bar navigation: Duplicate Shopping Cart page hidden under About section

Improvements made:
Hero image updated with image of a person, to help users picture themselves at the wellness retreats
Layout updated to highlight company offerings
Clear call to actions (buttons) that re-directed to relevant pages
Updated top bar navigation with clear sections
Updated brand colours to compliment orange logo and bring more vibrance
Sourced new images that matched brand feel and colours
Updated site copy

Things to improve:
No way to purchase retreats directly from the website
Large blocks of text that are hard to read, important information is lost
Pricing options hidden by scrolling
Lacks styling, does not draw the user in or entice them to purchase
Excess information that could be put in additional marketing materials as a PDF download (retreat itinerary)

Improvements made:
Incorporated images that add vibrance and catch user attention
Set up retreat offerings as an online shop, allowing users to choose which price option to view or add to cart
Add call to actions (buttons) to download itinerary and view partner company website
Created retreat itinerary PDF
Updated site copy to be more concise and highlight most important information
