Case Study: EU Study Assist

Project Overview: EU Study Assist is a platform designed to provide loan services to students planning to study in Europe. The platform aims to simplify the loan application process and increase accessibility to financial support for international students. I was tasked with improving the loan application workflow and optimizing the landing page to drive higher customer conversions.

Challenges:

Complex Loan Application Process: The initial application flow was cumbersome and confusing for users, leading to a high drop-off rate.

Low Conversion Rate on Landing Page: The existing landing page had limited impact, with many visitors failing to convert into applicants.

Approach and Solutions:

Loan Application Process:

Worked on streamlining the loan application process by simplifying the user interface and breaking it down into manageable steps.

Integrated form validation, progress tracking, and easy-to-understand instructions to reduce user confusion and improve the overall experience.

Focused on making the process more intuitive, ensuring that students could easily apply for loans without feeling overwhelmed.

Landing Page Revamp:

Redesigned the landing page to be more engaging and visually appealing, with clear CTAs (calls-to-action) that guide users through the application process.

Conducted A/B testing to assess the effectiveness of different designs and content.

Focused on the user journey, ensuring the page was optimized for mobile devices and featured essential information upfront, reducing bounce rates and encouraging conversions.

Incorporated testimonials and success stories to build trust and demonstrate the platform's value.

Results:

The revamped landing page led to a significant increase in customer conversions, thanks to its more user-friendly design and compelling CTAs.

The streamlined loan application process reduced friction, resulting in fewer drop-offs and a higher completion rate.

Impact: EU Study Assist is now more accessible to students seeking financial support for their studies. The improvements to the loan application process and landing page have not only enhanced user experience but also boosted conversions, positioning the platform for future growth and success.
