A quali-quant survey was conducted with over 150 viewers, primarily aged 25-44 and predominantly Black/African American. The survey targeted occasional and regular viewers to gather comprehensive insights into their media habits, preferences, and perceptions of the show.
Key Findings
1. Strengths:
Viewers feel a familial connection with Jennifer Hudson, appreciating her personality and story.
Hudson is seen as a role model, with viewers interested in her opinions on various topics.
2. Areas for Improvement:
Some interviews appear rehearsed; viewers desire more genuine, raw conversations.
Pacing and transitions need improvement for a smoother viewing experience.
3. Viewer Preferences:
• Audience giveaways are popular and create engaging social media content.
• Viewers want more diverse guests and shareable moments showcasing Hudson’s talent.
Conclusion
The survey results provided actionable insights, emphasizing the importance of authenticity and smoother pacing.
