Splice is the music industry's highest quality, royalty-free sample library trusted by producers, musicians, and students of all levels. In the Spring of 2023, I was approached by Splice to create videos for their growing social presence across their website, YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. Through ongoing collaboration, I work with Splice to show fans an intimate behind-the-scenes look at the musicians and the process that goes into creating their iconic sample packs.
Egyptian Lover (born Greg Broussard) is a legend in the U.S. electro and hip-hop scenes. Summarizing his decades-long career into a bite-sized video for social media was a unique challenge. I loved diving into this character's past through thoughtfully placed sound design and vintage archived videos. I crafted this story for Youtube & Instagram.
