Project Summary: Lensbaby Social Media & Community Growth Initiative
From May 2020 to August 2021, I led a social media and community engagement initiative for Lensbaby, a Portland-based company, in a remote capacity. My efforts focused on increasing brand awareness, driving revenue, and enhancing customer support efficiency.
Ambassador Program Development: Established and managed a 200-person ambassador program, generating $317K in revenue.
SEO & Content Strategy: Launched weekly blogs and video shorts to improve search rankings for photography topics and leveraged viral Reels for greater visibility.
Social Media Growth: Increased Instagram following by 300% and YouTube subscribers by 9K, significantly boosting brand visibility.
Email Marketing Optimization: Enhanced newsletter content with consumer trend insights and pop-culture themes, leading to a 120% increase in revenue attributed to email campaigns.
E-commerce Automation: Integrated Shopify chatbots to automate sales with add-ons and recommendations. "Common questions" automation reduced customer support tickets by 25%, leaving the team with more time.
This project successfully combined community-building, content strategy, and automation to strengthen Lensbaby’s online presence and improve customer engagement.
