The Problem: Anna Gringas had a spiffy new logo for her vending machine service, but her designer doesn’t create websites, which was next on her to-do list.

The Solution: Using her logo, provided photo assets, and vibrant illustrations, I created a website that makes her stand apart from her stuffy, old-school competitors. I focused on a bright, happy aesthetic to highlight the healthy snacks offered by her machines.

The client provided several direct competitors, all of whom had clunky websites with outdated designs. AJ Vending offers machines with both snacks and beverages, all of which are healthier than what you'd normally find in a vending machine.

After analyzing her competitors, I focused on maximizing the client's limited amount of assets. Since her business was just getting off the ground, there were limited product photos and little information.

Since her machines are unique, stock photography was not an option, since the machines in the photos look nothing like her modern-day machines with card readers and combo options. Instead, I used bright, friendly illustrations to help convey the positive mood that having one of the machines can bring.

I took inspiration from her logo colors to create a vibrant, green design that certainly makes her stand out from the bland competitors that were using beiges and maroons.

The target users are businesses and other establishments. I kept it to the point and only used a few transition animations and a nice little interaction on the home page. There is also a contact form to capture leads.

The result is a website that fit the client's budget and gave her a place to advertise her machines. Since she's using Webflow, the site will be able to grow as her business expands.
