"Personalised Meals for Health-Conscious Individuals"

Sauce X Bowl is a startup offering personalised meals for health-conscious individuals. The team needed a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) to validate market fit & acquire early users.

Challenge

The goal was to create a user-centric & feasible product that aligned with Sauce X Bowl’s unique value proposition & long-term vision.

Role

As the Product Manager & Designer, I collaborated between development, marketing & investors to ensure feature feasibility, user-centric design & strategic alignment.

Vision & Target Market

To empower health-conscious professionals to achieve their health goals through personalised, convenient, & ready-to-eat meals.

Unique Value Proposition

We take the guesswork out of healthy eating by offering real-time nutritional breakdowns for personalising meal plans.

Roadmap

We prioritised the core functionalities for personalised meal planning & user acquisition. Desirable but non-essential features were shelved for future considerations. These included a dietary profile builder, personalised recommendations, meal planning calendar & subscription management.

User Research

To truly cater for health-conscious individuals, we conducted user research to understand their needs & behaviours. This research focused on two key areas:
Eating Habits & Challenges: We explored user habits related to eating out & ordering delivery services. This included questions about the frequency of these activities, as well as challenges faced when choosing healthy options in these situations.
Motivations & Preferences: We also delved into the deeper motivations that drive users to eat healthily. This involved understanding users' primary reasons for prioritising healthy eating & any dietary restrictions or preferences they follow.
