SignSimpli Mobile App

Role: Product / UX UI Designer | Timeline: 2024–2025 | Platform: iOS & Android | Product: SignSimpli (WorkSimpli ecosystem)

Context

SignSimpli is a document signing solution within the WorkSimpli ecosystem. At the time, no native mobile app existed, this became the company’s first mobile product, built to let users upload, scan, fill, and sign documents directly from their phones.

Problem

No mobile Fill & Sign experience
Workflows were desktop-dependent
Users couldn’t upload from camera, cloud, or files on mobile
No document scanning or annotation via touch

Goal

Design and lead a cohesive Fill & Sign experience that:
Enables complete Fill & Sign workflows
Aligns with industry UX patterns
Drives clarity and usability through intentional interaction design
Reduces friction across the end-to-end user journey
Ensures a scalable and consistent cross-platform experience

Complementary flows such as the dashboard, signature setup, and account management, extending beyond the editor to support a cohesive product experience

My Role

As the product’s UX/UI Designer, I led the design of the mobile experience from the ground up.
I was responsible for:
Designing the entire app experience from scratch
Defining flows, IA, and microinteractions
Researching competitors & best practices
Prototyping and iterating based on feedback
Aligning closely with devs to ensure feasibility and polish
Presenting and gaining buy-in from stakeholders

Design Process

Competitive Benchmarking & Product Direction:
Analyzed Adobe Fill & Sign, JetSign, and Signeasy to identify industry standards, interaction patterns, and usability gaps. Defined how the product would align with familiar conventions while creating a differentiated, scalable experience.
Dashboard & Document Management
Dashboard & Document Management
Dashboard & Document Management:
Designed the dashboard structure, including empty and populated states, document organization, and primary actions. Established how users access, manage, and track documents to ensure clarity and continuity from the first interaction.
Signature Ecosystem (Add Signature & My Signatures):
Defined how signatures are created, stored, edited, and reused across documents. Designed vertical and horizontal drawing experiences, resolved rotation-related edge cases (including accidental deletion risks), and structured the long-term “Manage Signatures” functionality.
Profile & Data Structure:
Designed the My Profile experience and defined how user information integrates into the signing workflow. Established the logic for data persistence, editing, and consistency across the product ecosystem.
Editor Architecture & Interaction System:
Led the end-to-end interaction design of the Fill & Sign editor, defining feature hierarchy, access patterns, field insertion behavior, state management, contextual pop-ups, and rotation guidance. Balanced usability with technical feasibility while handling stakeholder-driven scope changes and designing additional features that were planned for future releases.
Prototyping, Iteration & Stakeholder Management:
Delivered high-fidelity interactive prototypes and iterated extensively through evolving product decisions. Navigated feature prioritization, adapted to scope reductions and post-launch adjustments, and collaborated closely with engineering to ensure implementation quality.
