Who are Devengers?
[Developers + Avengers ==Developers turned into avengers]
Devengers think twice, code once.
This initiative was focused on creating a substantial shift in developer relations and bringing like-minded developers from around the globe. The program revolves around building community, and evangelizing new technology and trends in the current scenario.
As part of the Devengers Program, we initially planned a series of 10 Hacknights and 40 in-person meetups. Over 7 months, we successfully covered 15 different cities, hosting a total of 28 engaging in-person meetups on various topics. Specifically, we organized 7 Hacknights in the cities of Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Delhi.
However, due to the challenges posed by the ongoing pandemic, we had to adapt our approach. We transitioned the remaining meetups and Hacknights to a virtual format, ensuring the safety and well-being of our community members.
Despite the obstacles, we are proud to share that our efforts bore fruit, and we were able to scale our community significantly. Our community now boasts over 9000 developers, thanks to the success of both our in-person and virtual events.
