Vertigo: any photo becomes a 3D movie shot (my own product)
Vertigo is my own product: a browser app that turns one still photo into a short 3D movie shot, like a Hitchcock dolly zoom, a Ken Burns push or an orbit. The depth AI runs on your device and the photo is never uploaded. It is not client work.
How you use it
Drop, paste or pick a photo, or tap a sample.
Pick a camera move: Vertigo, Ken Burns, Orbit, Crane, Swing or Window.
Set the look: depth, haze, relight, focus, tilt-shift, grain and colour grades.
Export a seamless 4 to 6 second loop as MP4 or WebM in 16:9, 1:1 or 9:16 at 1080p, or a PNG still.
How it works
Depth Anything V2 Small runs through Transformers.js in a Web Worker, on WebGPU when available and WASM otherwise.
The foreground is cut out of a background plate, and the gap is filled by an inpainting pass, so camera moves do not show smeared edges.
Three.js with custom GLSL shaders displaces two planes and fades stretched triangles at depth edges.
Export records exactly one loop period with MediaRecorder, so the clip loops cleanly.
What it shows about my work
Running an AI model fully in the browser, real-time WebGL rendering, and a simple four-step interface on top of a lot of maths. No server, no analytics, no upload.
