The brand identity of SMS was underdeveloped so when they asked me to redesign all their digital products (website, application, advertising, newsletter, e-mail signature and whitepaper) I proposed to extend the brand identity before designing the products.
The Identity
The identity has been extended with the concept “The Magic of eLearning“. This idea stems from the fact that elearning is growing as tech is growing. Creating possibilities like learning through VR/AR applications. Making learning material and the real world blend into one. To give an idea this concept caused the branding to use a good to read sans-serif and have both earth tones and tech tones combined with their main SMS Orange.
The UI
The identity is documented in a styleguide and incorporated in a single source figma file using variables and components creating the early stage of what at some point could become a design system. With this I have created responsive and clean user interfaces for the website and elearning application which are very easy to use and scan through.
The UX
The UX of this page is designed with UX laws and accessibility rules in mind. For example Aesthetic-Usability Effect, Cognitive Load, Flow, Hick’s Law, Law of Proximity, and Miller’s Law.
The design consistent of the following landingpage formula I (roughly) like to use:
1. Who are we and what do we do - Present yourself as a company
2. Social proof - We have worked with these companies before
3. Benefits - What are the benefits for you when using our product/service
4. Call to Action - Are you curious to learn more about the benefits for your organization?
5. What we can do for you - More extensive breakdown of your offerings including a video
6. What we have done - Showing multiple case studies
7. Call to Action - Contact us and let us show you what we can do for your company.
8. Social proof - A selection of the best testimonials from our clients
9. Footer - In case you may have not found what you are looking for. Here are the site links.
10. Call to Action - Contact us now.
