About the project
The client wanted to automate the creation of high-quality marketing content for Instagram and LinkedIn without manual copywriting or formatting.
Their goal was to transform simple content ideas or links stored in Google Sheets into fully written, platform-optimized posts using AI.

Manual writing and formatting of every social post
No consistent tone across platforms
Time wasted rewriting the same idea for Instagram and LinkedIn
No scalable way to generate content in batches
Need for AI without complex tools or editors
Solution
I built a custom Zapier automation that connects Google Sheets with Claude API to generate clean, platform-ready social media content automatically.
The system converts raw ideas into polished posts using structured prompts tailored to each platform.
How the Automation Works
1. Google Sheets Trigger
A new idea or URL is added to a specific column in Google Sheets.
2. Prompt Injection & Claude API
Zapier formats the input and sends it via a Webhook request to Claude API using predefined prompts:
Platform-specific tone
Copywriting structure
Formatting rules
3. Response Parsing
Claude’s output is cleaned, validated, and formatted to remove noise or inconsistencies.
4. Output Delivery
The final, ready-to-post content is written back into the same Google Sheets row for review, scheduling, or publishing.
