Sora & Stone — The Terracotta Vessel Series

Sora & Stone is an artisanal studio creating hand-thrown, sculptural ceramic ware. For the launch of The Terracotta Vessel Series (Limited Batch No. 04), the objective was to design a minimalist digital launch campaign that reflects tactile warmth, organic raw clay textures, and serene craftsmanship ('Sculpted in Clay & Silence').
Design Approach & Strategy
Tactile Texture & Earth Tones:
Built on a foundation of raw stucco, stone grey, clay brown, and off-white backdrops to echo the physical texture of unglazed ceramics.
Editorial Hierarchy:
Combined high-contrast, display serif typography for collection titles with clean geometric sans-serif subheadings for clear call-to-action paths.
Asymmetrical Layout Systems:
Framed process photography, showing the pottery wheel and finished vessels, against textured card overlays to maintain an architectural, editorial rhythm across web and social formats.
E-Commerce Web Header: Strategic layout highlighting both the crafting process on the wheel and finished tableware, paired with clear e-commerce CTAs.
Brand Identity System: A comprehensive breakdown of the visual architecture for Sora & Stone. Highlights the restrained earth-toned color palette (featuring raw clay textures), professional typographic hierarchy, and custom circular lettermark badge lockups.
