About The Brand

SAE University is a global institute that provides creative media education to inspire and develop graduates. It has over 50 campuses in 20+ countries, including the US, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Mexico, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. SAE offers high-tech courses in audio, film, and entertainment business education, with modern and inspiring classes using industry-standard equipment and software.

The Challenge

As a Social Media Marketing Strategist for SAE University, my goal was to develop and execute SAE's social media and marketing strategy plan in collaboration with the Marketing Manager.
My challenges included creating consistent branding across all social media and campaigns, increasing engagement on all social media channels, incorporating videos to adapt to the shift towards video-based sharing apps, conducting testimonials from current students and graduates, adding TikTok and BeReal to SAE Dubai's social media strategy to reach younger audiences, collaborating with the student council and freshmen to be ambassadors for SAE, managing creative interns to produce content for the website and social media channels, and staying up-to-date with new trends and social media features.

The Process

To address these challenges, I managed day-to-day social media activity on all platforms, created innovative content on various social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, BeReal, Facebook, LinkedIn, & YouTube) to drive engagement and boost brand awareness, analyzed reports including analytics, campaigns, leads messages, and target audience sentiment, and managed the design, maintenance, and development of the website with relevant products and courses.

The Outcome

Through my efforts, SAE Institute achieved significant growth and success in less than a year. We saw an increase in our overall social media following, with Instagram and TikTok experiencing the highest growth rates at 35% and 40%, respectively.
Our engagement rate on social media also increased by 20%, indicating that our content was resonating well with our audience.‍ Additionally, by incorporating video content into our social media strategy, we saw a 30% increase in video views and a 25% increase in shares, indicating that our audience was enjoying and sharing our content more frequently.‍
By collaborating with the student council and freshmen to be ambassadors for SAE, we were able to tap into the power of user-generated content. Our testimonials from current students and graduates also helped us establish authority and credibility within our industry, resulting in a 10% increase in leads and inquiries about our programs.‍
Finally, by staying up-to-date with new trends and social media features, we were able to keep our content fresh and engaging, resulting in a 5% increase in overall website traffic. Overall, SAE University experienced significant growth and success in less than a year, thanks to our effective social media and marketing strategy plan.
