Guide, a platform designed for students seeking higher education in Dubai.
Traveling to another country for your higher education can get complicated.
But Guide makes the process a breeze.
Guide is an all-in-one platform with access to the top universities, student housing, and attractions in Dubai.
As a startup, they were looking to build a bold brand that not only stood out but reflected their personality.
Here's the process:
To begin, we first determined some words that come to mind when we think of “Guide”?
Guidance
Direction
Navigation
Arrows
Map
Compass
Path
Road
Out of these words, the one word that caught my attention was "Arrows"
You see, arrows are a universal symbol for direction. It's a symbol that guides you to your destination.
And since our target audience is based out of ANYWHERE in the world (Except the UAE) the identity needs to be understandable at a glance.
In other words, there should be no barriers or difficulties in understanding.
What's the best way to do that?
You got it, through an arrow!

First up, Logo design.
To design the logo we needed it to be sleek, subtle, and legible.
However, the real challenge: How do we incorporate an arrow with the letter "G"?
After a few iterations, here's what I ended up with.
