Most people don't realize there's a right and wrong way to travel with a pet internationally. The paperwork is specific, requirements change by country, and one missed document can get your animal turned away at the border.

Layna Heintz knew this better than most. Working in a veterinary clinic, she was the one people came to when relocation paperwork landed on the desk. Vets included. Eventually, enough people told her to make it a business.

So she did.

Big Sky Pet Travel is named after her home in Western Canada and her late father's skydiving company, Skydive Big Sky. He was a pilot. The name carries that.

My role was to build the brand from scratch. Strategy, visual identity, messaging, and touchpoint design. One brief: make a stressful process feel handled.
