Bioport brand identity

Recently, I had the honor of working with Bioport, a California-based biotech company that is commercializing a groundbreaking innovation in converting biomass into sustainable alternatives to crude oil, including aviation fuel.

This is a once-in-history breakthrough. Bioport's proprietary technology transforms lignocellulose into hydrocarbon fuels, successfully addressing one of the most challenging aspects of biomass conversion: the benzene ring. These six-carbon-ring structures, resembling a hexagon, serve as a fitting symbol of their conversion process.

What makes this especially remarkable is that Bioport has achieved what many have pursued without success: economically fractionating these complex structures and fully valorizing lignocellulose into usable hydrocarbons. It’s a major step forward in sustainable fuel technology.
