A well-known luxury brand - proofreading and editing

For more than 10 years, I have been proofreading for a well-known brand that creates various luxury items, including pens, watches and leather luggage. Over this long relationship, I have become a gatekeeper of their corporate style.

I proofread and edit texts ranging from product brochures (print and online) to retail staff training materials (app text).

The service required varies depending on the type of text. Sometimes proofreading for errors is required - which is extremely demanding in the case of print publications. Sometimes I am requested to rephrase and refine the language, especially when the text is a product of translation.

Because of the nature of the brand and its products, a high degree of cultural knowledge and awareness is expected of me, so that I can advise on factual errors, for example concerning artistic and historical matters, or point out linguistic and cultural inappropriateness.
