𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲

Delivered a robust, serverless system to automate custom email generation, forwarding, and real-time bounce handling for the Zoho Marketing Platform. This solution replaced manual processes with a highly scalable AWS architecture.

𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠: Seamlessly receive emails sent to custom domains and forward them to Zoho.

𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐦

The client relied on manual processes for managing custom domain emails (generation, forwarding, and bounce handling). This was 𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐫, and prevented the Zoho Marketing Platform from reliably tracking communication, leading to 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬.

𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

A microservices architecture was built on 𝐀𝐖𝐒 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 (Lambda, SES, DynamoDB) and integrated with 𝐙𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐫 and the 𝐙𝐨𝐡𝐨 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦. The system fully automates email lifecycle: custom ID generation, forwarding via SES, and bounce detection via SNS/Lambda.

𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐩𝐞

The project provided an end-to-end infrastructure for email communication:
𝐂𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦 𝐈𝐃 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Automated creation of unique email addresses and mapping storage (𝐃𝐲𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐃𝐁).
𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐢𝐩𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞: Reliable receipt and forwarding of all emails via 𝐀𝐖𝐒 𝐒𝐄𝐒.
𝐁𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠: Real-time bounce event detection (𝐒𝐍𝐒) and reporting back to Zoho.

Mail received by 𝐀𝐖𝐒 𝐒𝐄𝐒 --> Triggers 𝐋𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐝𝐚 --> Retrieves actual recipient ID from 𝐃𝐲𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐃𝐁 --> Forwards email via 𝐒𝐄𝐒.

The automated system delivered immediate and significant operational improvements:

The project successfully deployed a highly robust and scalable email infrastructure. By replacing manual effort with 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, the system guaranteed reliable delivery, eliminated bounces, and freed up staff time, providing a critical foundation for the client's high-volume marketing campaigns.
