Overview

In Residence is a luxury travel advisory agency with over 15 years of experience, known for its partnerships with elite hoteliers, private jet and yacht operators, and destination management companies worldwide.
They came with no existing brand identity — no logo, and an outdated website that didn't reflect their standing in the luxury space. The goal was clear: build something that feels premium but still modern.

The Problem

When In Residence first reached out, the gap between their reputation and their visual presence was striking. Their client roster and industry standing spoke to a company that operates at an elite level — but their digital presence told a completely different story. The existing website was outdated, generic, and did nothing to communicate the luxury, exclusivity, and deep expertise that defines the In Residence experience.
The brief was ambitious: design a full brand identity and website from the ground up, one that feels unmistakably luxury without veering into stuffy or dated territory. The target was modern luxury — refined, confident, and quietly premium.

Timeline

The project was structured in two clear phases:
Weeks 1–2 — Branding. This phase was dedicated entirely to building the brand from the ground up. Logo exploration, typography, color palette, and the overall visual language were all developed and finalized here. We went through multiple rounds of concepts and refinements, making sure everything felt cohesive and true to the In Residence identity before moving a single pixel onto the website.
Weeks 3–4 — Website Development. With the brand locked in, we moved into Framer to build the site. Having a solid visual foundation made the development phase focused and efficient — every design decision on the website had a clear reference point. The result was a polished, fully responsive site built to match the premium standard of the brand itself.
In total, the project ran about a week longer than the original plan due to client availability during feedback rounds — but the extra time was used to refine rather than rush, and the final product reflected that.

The Result

In Residence launched with a complete brand identity and a website that finally matches who they are. The logo, the visual language, and the site all work together to communicate one thing clearly: this is a company that operates at the highest level. For the first time, a potential client landing on their website gets exactly the right impression before a single conversation takes place.
