This was a team of all engineers who came to me to get their product in to shape for sales and trade shows. Their industry was not using much (if any) software outside of the manufacturing machines themselves. So we started by seeing what data we could get from the machines and channeling that in to a dashboard where any user could see the status and eventually predict the point of lost efficiency or failure before it happened.
