Gerda — a visual identity built around preserving history
Gerda specializes in building restoration and reconstruction, helping bring old and historic properties back to life while preserving their architectural character and cultural value.
The project included a logo redesign and full visual identity system designed to communicate expertise, precision, heritage, and a modern approach to architectural restoration.
Logo redesign. Brand identity. Visual identity. Architectural branding. Construction branding. Restoration branding. Real estate branding. Corporate identity. Graphic design. Typography. Brand guidelines. Art direction.
The Concept
Gerda works at the intersection of history, architecture, and modern construction.
The identity needed to reflect this balance — respecting the character of historic buildings while communicating the company's ability to analyze complex structures, develop reconstruction plans, and give properties a second life.
The visual direction combines a sense of heritage with a clean, contemporary design language.
The Identity System
We redesigned the Gerda logo and developed a complete visual identity pack that could be applied consistently across the company's communications.
The system was created for corporate materials, presentations, documentation, signage, digital communication, and marketing applications, giving Gerda a recognizable and professional presence.
The visual language connects architectural precision with the idea of preservation and renewal.
The Impact
Gerda received a cohesive architectural restoration brand identity that positions the company as a modern expert in rebuilding and preserving historic properties.
The project combines logo redesign, brand identity, visual identity, architectural branding, construction branding, restoration branding, corporate identity, graphic design, typography, and brand guidelines.
The Takeaway.
Restoration isn't just rebuilding a structure. It's giving history another life.
